Infotopics | Apps for Power BI was founded in 2022, but we have been active in the data branch since 2018. Starting with Tableau Extensions, you may know us as ‘Apps for Tableau’.
Our Story
Apps for Tableau began as a division, part of the Solutions department of Infotopics, which has been a Tableau Gold Partner since 2011. When Tableau made it possible to develop dashboard Extensions from July 2018 in version 2018.2, we immediately saw the potential for our customers. Together with our Tableau Visionary Merlijn Buit, we decided to dedicate a team full time to create the best Tableau Extensions.
Our first Extension, ShowMeMore, was presented as a keynote by Keshia Rose at the Tableau Conference New Orleans 2018. Since then, we have created more popular Extensions and other products like SuperTables, ProcessMining, and SuperKPIs. In 2018 we even won the Tableau Innovative Solution Award!
We are the market leader in Tableau Extensions. With 500+ organizations using our products and having partners worldwide, we are growing and expanding rapidly. Now, we are ready to enter the world of Power BI with our visuals to help organizations go from good to great!
